Arrive in Ghana and be warmly welcomed by your Tales of a Travel Bag and Black Travel Network Africa representative at Kotoka International Airport. The day begins with brunch at a local restaurant, along with assistance for currency exchange upon arrival. Guests may enjoy optional fabric shopping and visits to local dressmakers before exploring Ghana’s rich history with a visit to the National Museum of Ghana. For those interested, an optional evening out in Accra offers the perfect way to kick off the adventure and experience the city’s vibrant nightlife.

Accra City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a guided city tour highlighting Accra’s rich history and cultural landmarks. The day includes a visit to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, followed by an immersive Old Accra walking tour through historic neighborhoods. Guests will enjoy time to shop and bargain at the vibrant Art & Crafts Market and visit Black Star Square, the iconic symbol of Ghanaian independence. Dinner is enjoyed at the hotel before heading out in the evening to experience local events and festivities surrounding AfroFuture, adding an exciting nightlife element to the day.

After breakfast, depart for Ghana’s lush Eastern Region, where guests may enjoy an optional, serene waterfall massage surrounded by nature.  Enjoy a leisurely morning to relax and unwind at the resort before setting out on a private boat cruise to take in the natural beauty of Ghana’s Volta Region. New Year's Eve In Accra

Enjoy a relaxed morning before departing for Accra after lunch and checking in at the our hotel. The evening kicks off with a visit to Republic Bar on Oxford Street, where guests will enjoy the nightlife until 10:00 PM, before heading to Accra’s biggest beach party, running from 11:00 PM through 9:00 AM the next day. After an unforgettable night of music and celebration, return to the hotel to rest and recover.

Begin the day with an unforgettable visit to the Kakum Canopy Walkway, where you’ll walk high above the rainforest floor for breathtaking views of Ghana’s lush canopy. Afterward, enjoy lunch at Mabel’s Table, a beloved seaside restaurant, before continuing on a guided walking tour of Elmina, the first community in Ghana to come into contact with Europeans. The day concludes with dinner at the hotel, accompanied by a vibrant cultural performance celebrating local music, dance, and traditions.
